CLYDE WEINKEIN

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Clyde G. Weinkein, 63, of Perryville died Monday, Sept. 18, 2000, at Perry Oaks Manor.

He was born Feb. 11, 1937, at Perryville, son of Glennon G. and Marie A. Gebhardt Weinkein.

Weinkein was an assembly line worker at General Motors. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Highland, Mo., Perryville Eagles, and an AMVETS son.

Survivors include three sons, Mark and Craig Weinkein of Perryville, Michael Weinkein of Granite City, Ill.; a daughter, Stacy Weinkein of Granite City; a sister, Thelma Welland of Perryville; a brother, Chalmer Weinkein of Perryville; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-10:25 a.m. The wake will be at 7:30 tonight.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church in Highland, with the Rev. Robert Brockland officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
