GLEN ALLEN -- Clyde R. King, 81, of Glen Allen died Wednesday, April 5, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 20, 1919, in Black Rock, Ark., son of William M. and Mamie Nunnally King. He and Alidene Weston were married Dec. 28, 1938, in Marked Tree, Ark.
King had been a welder with American Car in St. Louis. He had lived at Glen Allen since 1973.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Charles King of Patterson, Jerry King of Cedar Hill; a daughter, Joyce Tilley of Glen Allen; two sisters, Billie Killan of Festus, Jerri Winslow of Barnhart; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, two brothers, and a sister.
Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Clinton Massa officiating. Burial will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery at Barnhart.
