BLOOMFIELD -- Clyde J. Day of St. Louis, 65, died Friday, March 24, 1995, at the Christian N. E. Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Dec. 30, 1929, in California, son of Clyde and Francis Carwitz Day.
He married Daphne Jane Flowers. She preceded him in death in 1983.
Survivors include five daughters, Debbie Neal of Galveston, Ind., and Nancy Beatty, Karen Geist, Shelia Day and Melanie Tipton, all of St. Louis; a brother, Robert Day of O'Fallon, Mo.; a sister, Rosalee Matthews of Stewartstown, Pa.; his mother-in-law Jane Flowers, of Bloomfield; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Service will be held at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield Tuesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in North Antioch Cemetery near Bloomfield.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday after 3 p.m.
