McCLURE, Ill. -- Clyde V. Dunn, 82, of McClure died Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
He was born Dec. 13, 1916, at Thebes, son of Clyde F. and Ida Mae Mohser Dunn. He and Dorothy Fuller were married March 4, 1939, at McClure. She died in 1989.
Dunn was a conductor with Missouri Pacific Railroad 39 years. He was a member of Randles Pentecostal Church at Randles, Mo., president of Thebes Senior Citizens, and was a musician at area churches and senior centers.
Survivors include three sons, Richard Dunn of East Cape Girardeau, Donald and Steve Dunn of Cape Girardeau; five daughters, Norma Abbott of Morrison, Tenn., Phyllis Marberry of East Cape, Sandra Fann of Jackson, Mo., Nancy Cox of Huntington, Ind., and Debbie Seals of McClure.
Also surviving are three sisters, Sylvia Clubb Caldwell of Thebes, Edna Keesee of Cape Girardeau, Venus Petitt of Scott City; a brother, Robert Dunn of Thebes; 20 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, five brothers, a sister, and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Bill Joyce officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery.
