BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Graveside service for Clyde Duba of Bloomfield will be held at 11 a.m. today at Elliott Cemetery west of Bloomfield. The Rev. Kenneth Gaines will officiate.

Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Duba, 74, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2000, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

He was born Dec. 30, 1925, at Malden, Mo., son of William and Edna Faye Heck Duba. He and Loretta Ward were married Nov. 13, 1953.

Duba lived in the Bloomfield community most of his life. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Arthur Duba of Bloomfield; two daughters, Alice McWilliams of Millersville, Mo., Ann Loper of Bellbrook, Ohio; two brothers, Bill Duba of Cathlamet, Wash., Don Duba of Denver, Colo.; three sisters, Dean Chance of Malden, Emma Estes of Chaffee, Mo., Ruth Boswell of St. Louis; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson.
