EAST PRAIRIE -- Cloyce Marion Thornbrough, 77, 332 Wilbur St., East Prairie, died Thursday, June 22, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Sept. 18, 1917, in East Prairie, son of Lola and Edna Floradel Carter Thornbrough.
He had managed the Western Auto Store in East Prairie for 32 years. He attended the First Christian Church in East Prairie.
He married Opal Eileen Jackson on May 2, 1936, in Whiting. She survives.
Other survivors are a son, Gary Wayne Thornbrough of East Prairie; a daughter, Marilyn Berry of Shawneetown, Ill.; a brother, Verlon Albert Thornbrough of Apex, N.C.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by eight brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Brothers Martin Lucas and Jim Nichols, pastors of the First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
