Clovis Pearl Eudy, 83, died Saturday, June 21, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born on Sept. 5, 1913, in Reynoldsville. He and Virgie Jewell Cain were married on March 17, 1934, in Reynoldsville. She preceded him in death.
Eudy worked as a farmer and owned and operated a grocery store in Ware for many years. He was a member of the Anna Heights Baptist Church and currently attended the Reynoldsville Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Ella Carlton of Vienna; two sons, Lyman Eudy and Lynn Eudy, both of Jonesboro; a brother, Walter Eudy of Oconto, Wis.; two sisters, Gladys Shelton of Jonesboro and Opal Smith of Cahokia, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 - 8 p.m. today at the Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Reynoldsville Baptist Church with the Rev. Argle Landis officiating. Burial will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
