ANNA, Ill. -- Cloman L. Lingle, 81, of Anna, died Monday, Oct. 26, 1992, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.
He was born Dec. 11, 1910, in Dongola, son of John and Jane Smoot Lingle. He and Edith Bloodworth were married Aug. 31, 1933. She died Feb. 11, 1990.
Lingle was a member and deacon at First Christian Church here, and veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include two sisters, Zona Campbell of Anna, and Deloris Reynolds of Perks.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Crain Funeral Chapel in Anna. Steve Shepherd will officiate, with burial in Anna Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
