SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Funeral service for Mrs. Clolie A. Crites of Sedgewickville will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel in Jackson. Ron Fields will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
Mrs. Crites, 74 years old, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 1991, at her home.
She was born Nov. 12, 1916, at Neelys Landing, daughter of George and Maggie Robinson Ackman. She married Courtland Crites Oct. 7, 1933. He died April 23, 1990.
Mrs. Crites was employed at International Shoe Co. several years, retiring in the late 1970s. She was a member of London Hill Missionary Baptist Church at Fredericktown.
Survivors include two sons, Dell Crites of Sedgewickville, Bradley Crites of Jackson; a brother, Troy Ackman of Sedgewickville; two sisters, Opal Tripp of Jackson, Peggy Godwin of Sikeston; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter, Les and Roy, and a sister, Floye.
