Clodine Doernhoefer

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Clodine Doernhoefer, 91, of Perryville died Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Nov. 29, 1911, at Sedgewickville, Mo., daughter of Ora and Minnie Statler Hahs. She and Gilbert M. Doernhoefer were married May 19, 1934. He died Nov. 25, 1981.

Doernhoefer was employed at the International Shoe Factory and Roziers. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lutheran Ladies Aid and Berean Bible Class.

Survivors include a daughter, Joan Brinkman of Cape Girardeau; a son, John Doernhoefer of Perryville; three sisters, Marie Statler of Cape Girardeau, Viola Twidwell of Farmington, Mo., and Lewana Weiss of Columbia, Mo.; three brothers, Gene and Lindell Hahs of Sedgewickville and the Rev. Bill Hahs of Mount Vernon, Ill.; four grandchildren; and three great granchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Chapel from 8 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
