Clintayzia Dejanae Nashay Clark, affectionately known as "Dunna," 23, a resident of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022 in Charleston, Missouri. She was born Jan. 22, 1999, in Sikeston, Missouri, to Clintrus "Mook" Clark of Charleston and Betty "B.J." Moore of Cape Girardeau.
She attended Charleston public schools.
Dunna was a good person with a heart of gold. There was never a dull moment when she was present. Her appearance would light up any room. She loved dancing and was considered the life of the party.
Dunna enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Her greatest love was caring for others, especially her mother. She did not know how to say "no," when asked to lend a helping hand.
She never met a stranger. Dunna would talk to everyone. She was a very well-mannered and loving person who wouldn't allow herself to get mad.
Dunna loved everybody else's money. If you didn't have Cash App, she would encourage you to get it. Those who loved her made sure she had a positive balance in her Cash App account. She was spoiled rotten from the beginning until the very end.
Clintayzia is survived by her father, Clintrus (Anita) Clark of Charleston; mother, Betty (Charles Mosley) Moore of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Damione and Marshon Edwards, both of Cape Girardeau, and Corey Frazier of Charleston; five sisters, Dymeisha Moore and Davarea Bird, both of Cape Girardeau, Kaybreonna Clark of Tioga, North Dakota, Sierra Frazier of Sikeston and Coreyanna Frazier of Charleston; paternal grandparents, Clint and Vanessa Clark of Charleston; two uncles, Thomas Moore of Charleston and Justin (Taylor) Clark of Miner, Missouri; two aunts, Niki Moore and Angie (Mark) Kimble, both of Charleston; her special friend, Aleesia Holland of Cape Girardeau; two nephews; five nieces; cousins; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Thomas Powell and Barbara "Sally" Moore.
Friends may call from noon until the funeral hour of 1 p.m. Saturday at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston, with Pastor Samuel Johnson of New Hope Church of God in Christ officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, with Williams Funeral Homes of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
