ADVANCE -- Funeral service for Clifford "C.A." Quinn of Advance was held Saturday at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Lee Roy Quinn officiated, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park. ADVANCE -- Funeral service for Clifford "C.A." Quinn of Advance was held Saturday at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Lee Roy Quinn officiated, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park.

Quinn, 93, died Thursday, Oct. 22, 1992, at Dexter Nursing Center.

He was born March 30, 1899, in Parson, Tenn., son of Lee Roy and Mary Alice Batten Quinn. He and Eva Mae Bonner were married Dec. 25, 1920, at Bernie.

Quinn was a farmer, and member of First Baptist Church at Bernie.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Lee Roy Quinn of Pilot Knob, Keith Quinn of O'Fallon, Larry Quinn of Dexter; two daughters, Louise Stevens of Dexter, Lois Quinn of Bethany, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by two sons, two daughters, four brothers and a sister.
