ANNA, Ill. -- Graveside service for Clifford Warren Nance of Anna will be held at 10 a.m. today at Alto Pass Cemetery, with the Rev. Dewayne Taylor officiating.

Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home at Cobden is in charge of arrangements.

Nance, 75, died Tuesday, April 23, 1996, at City Care Center.

He was born March 3, 1921, in Alto Pass, son of William Arthur and Minnie Bell Marks Nance. He and Evelyn Virginia Linton were married Dec. 27, 1943, in Cape Girardeau.

Nance was retired from a lumber yard. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Cobden.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Ruth Reynolds of Cobden; two sons, Wayne Nance of Kell, James Nance of Anna; two sisters, Hallie Ripley of Peoria, Janie Chamness of Cobden; a brother, Herbert Nance of Indiana; 10 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
