ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral service for Clifford Lingle of Anna will be held at 11 a.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. The Rev. Dale Jones will officiate, with burial in St. John's Cemetery.

Lingle, 89, died Monday, Feb. 10, 1997, at Union County Hospital.

He was born June 5, 1907, in Union County, son of George W. and Minnie Knupp Lingle.

Lingle retired as a warehouseman with A&P Grocery Co. He was a member of Anna Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Melba Poole of Anna; three brothers, Forrest and Weldon Lingle of Anna, and Olen Lingle of Indianapolis, Ind.

He was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
