CLIFFORD H. CISSELL

PERRYVILLE -- Clifford H. Cissell, 82, formerly of Perryville, died Monday, Feb. 20, 1995, at Village North Woods Care Center in St. Louis.

He was born Jan. 24, 1913, in Perryville, son of Leonard and Ottilia Huber Cissell. He and Rita Mattingly were married Nov. 16, 1946.

Cissell was a member of American Legion Post 133, Disabled American Veterans in St. Louis, and a 3rd Degree member of Knights of Columbus. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Marilyn Heeley and Linda Beller of St. Louis; a brother, Melvin Cissell of Perryville; two sisters, Iona Wibbenmeyer of Perryville, Rita Sauer of St. Louis, and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers and a grandchild.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Thursday, and 6:30-9:50 a.m. Friday. A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, followed by KC and American Legion services. The rosary will be at 9 a.m. Friday.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.
