Clifford Cossey

Clifford Cossey, 61, of Jackson died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born Nov. 26, 1941, at Peach Orchard, Mo., son of Marcus Obie and Lillian Godfrey Cossey. Survivors include two daughters, Paula Schwerzler of St. Charles, Mo., Amy Welch of Oak Ridge; a stepson, Don Cartwright of Georgetown, S.C.; three brothers, Roy Cossey of Gideon, Mo., Hershel Cossey of Boydsville, Ark., Deloy Cossey of Tacoma, Wash.; and four grandchildren...

Survivors include two daughters, Paula Schwerzler of St. Charles, Mo., Amy Welch of Oak Ridge; a stepson, Don Cartwright of Georgetown, S.C.; three brothers, Roy Cossey of Gideon, Mo., Hershel Cossey of Boydsville, Ark., Deloy Cossey of Tacoma, Wash.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

The funeral was held Wednesday at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Mo. The Rev. Zack Strong officiated. Burial was in Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
