GLADSTONE -- Funeral services for Clifford B. Diebold, 58, of Gladstone, who died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 1996, at the Ramona Villa Nursing Center, were held Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Gladstone with burial in White Chapel Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 1, 1938, in Benton, son of Leon and Marcella Diebold, who survive him. He married Jean Ann Stehr of Oran on May 3, 1958, who survives him.
He lived in the Kansas City area for the past 29 years, moving there from St. Louis and Oran. He worked for the Missouri Pacific Railroad in St. Louis, was a data processing manager for the Ozark National Life Insurance Co, a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and the Tri-County Knights of Columbus Council 3414.
He is survived by six sons: Jeff of Wichita, Kan., Kevin, Keith, Mark and Daryl, all of Kansas City, and Bryan, of Gladstone; one daughter, Diane Timberlake, of Kansas City; one brother, Jerome, of Oran; two sisters, Shirley Bennett, of Coconut Creek, Fla., and Ella Marie Callow, of Shelby, Miss.; and six grandchildren.
