McCLURE, Ill. -- Cletus L. Sronce, 88, of McClure died Friday, March 12, 1999, at his home. He was born March 18, 1910, at Delta, Ill., son of Willis and Sarah Dickerson Sronce. He and Lurabell Hutchison were married Nov. 7, 1936. Sronce retired as a machinist with Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a member of Brotherhood of Railroad Workers...

McCLURE, Ill. -- Cletus L. Sronce, 88, of McClure died Friday, March 12, 1999, at his home.

He was born March 18, 1910, at Delta, Ill., son of Willis and Sarah Dickerson Sronce. He and Lurabell Hutchison were married Nov. 7, 1936.

Sronce retired as a machinist with Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a member of Brotherhood of Railroad Workers.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Carol Skiles of McClure, Marilyn Rodenmeyer of Destin, Fla.; a son, Gary Sronce of Clarksville, Tenn.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, a brother, and a sister.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms from 4-8 p.m. Sunday.

Service and burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights.
