KELSO, Mo. -- Cletus C. Francis, 77, of Kelso died Saturday, May 31, 2003, at Chaffee Nursing Center.
He was born June 25, 1926, in Advance, Mo., son of David and Lillie Murry Francis. He and Evoleen Shell were married Dec. 3, 1945, at Grassy, Mo.
Francis retired after 20 years at General Grocery Co. in St. Louis as an order selector. He was a member of First General Baptist in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, LaVonda Durham of Jonesburg, Mo., and Belenda Hanna of Tallahassee, Fla.; a brother, Lloyd Francis of Advance; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Sam Ramdial and Norman Elledge officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park in Marble Hill, Mo.
