Cletus David Angle, 84, of Gordonville died Friday, May 7, 2021, at The Arbors at Auburn Creek in Cape Girardeau.

Born on Feb. 7, 1937, in Mayfield, Missouri. He was the son of Walter Chandes and Delphia Viola Green Angle. He married Lula Bell Wilkinson on Feb. 11, 1956, in Sedgewickville, Missouri, and she survives.

Cletus worked for Coca-Cola for over 30 years. After retiring from Coca-Cola, he bought his family's farm near Sedgewickville. He worked on the farm raising hogs and cattle for over 30 years. In 2009, he sold the farm and moved to Gordonville.

Cletus is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lula Bell; three children, Theresa (Tom) Rainwater of Haines City, Florida, Novena (Jim) Bollinger and Shawn (Connie) Angle, both of Burfordville; one sister, Pauline Wilkinson of Marble Hill, Missouri; six grandsons, Lucas (Salina), Levi (Andy), Lance (Emily) and Logan (Ade) Bollinger and Jason (Tora) and Justin (Presley) Angle; plus seven great-grandchildren, Naomi, Henry, Cole, Isabell, Mark, Natalie and Alex.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Clyde and Lindell Angle; and a son-in-law, Russell Hall.

To honor his wishes, he will be cremated with no services.

Arrangements were under the care of Liley Cremation Services in Cape Girardeau.
