GLEN ALLEN -- Cletis Alexander Buckingham, 64, of Glen Allen, died Monday, Feb. 17, 1992, at his home.
He was born Nov. 8, 1927, at Glen Allen, son of Alvis and Lorada Farmer Buckingham. He and Lola Gromer were married July 26, 1965.
Buckingham had worked for an electrical manufacturing company.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jimmy Buckingham, address unknown, Homer Crader of Austin, Texas; six daughters, Jackie Vancampan of West Palm Beach, Fla., Mikki Sitzes of Cottage Hills, Verla Holman of Denver, Colo., Betty Colby and Sandy Colby of Pueblo, Colo., Penny Sidelman, address unknown; three sisters, Keena Longstaff, Karen and Kathy Buckingham, all of Kansas; a brother, Alvin Buckingham of Oakley, Calif.; 25 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Liley Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. The Revs. Charley Hovis and Gene Robbins will officiate, with burial in McGee Chapel Cemetery here.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
