PERRYVILLE -- Cleta A. "Pete" Govro, 94, of Perryville, died Tuesday, March 15, 1994, at Perry County Nursing Home. She was born Dec. 17, 1899, in Perry County, daughter of William A. and Mary Jane Francis Cissell DiFani. She and Dennis Francis Govro were married Feb. 27, 1933, in Perry County. He died July 14, 1971...

PERRYVILLE -- Cleta A. "Pete" Govro, 94, of Perryville, died Tuesday, March 15, 1994, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Dec. 17, 1899, in Perry County, daughter of William A. and Mary Jane Francis Cissell DiFani. She and Dennis Francis Govro were married Feb. 27, 1933, in Perry County. He died July 14, 1971.

Govro was a member of Daughters of Isabella and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.

Survivors include a sister, Willie Slagle of Tucson, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and a brother.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today. A wake and Daughters of Isabella service will be held at 7.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
