SIKESTON, Mo. -- Clera Estelle Beeson, 90, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 28, 1914, in Loretta, Tenn., daughter of James Carl and Donie Cal Ezell Littrell. She and W.T. Beeson were married Sept. 26, 1936, in New Madrid, Mo. He died June 2, 1982.
Beeson was a nurse aide 13 years at Missouri Delta Medical Center, retiring in 1978. She was a charter member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Jacqueline Hubbert of Benton, Mo., Karen McBride of State Road, N.C.; three sisters, Lorene Martin and Rachel Thompson of Sikeston, Vela Nolan of Pensacola, Fla.; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Revs. Ray Thurman and Cecil Adams officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
