PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Cleora C. Blair, 75, of Perryville died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2001, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 22, 1925, in Perryville, daughter of Frank J. and Minnie C. Zoellner Pingel. She and Howard L. Blair were married May 29, 1948, at Biehle, Mo. He died July 13, 1991.
Blair was a cafeteria manager 15 years at St. Vincent de Paul School. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, was active in the Ladies Sodality, and was instrumental in organizing quilt committees for the annual Seminary Picnic.
Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Reitzel and Suzanne Nuyt of Perryville, JoAnn Graham of Baton Rouge, La.; two sons, Michael Blair of Perryville, Thomas Blair of Westchester, Pa.; two brothers, James Pingel of St. Louis, Allen Pingel of Perryville; a sister, Virginia Winschel of Perryville; nine grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and a sister.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30 to 9:50 a.m. The parish wake with the Ladies Sodality will be at 7 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Monday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
