CHAFFEE -- Cleo Houseman, 81, of Chaffee died Friday, Sept. 10, 1999, at the Senath Nursing Home.

She was born Sept. 19, 1917, at Williamsville, daughter of Pearl Clifford Halbert and Harriett Caroline Leach Halbert.

She was a retired housekeeper at the U.S. Post Office in Chaffee.

She was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Chaffee.

She is survived by two sons, Davy Houseman of Roan Mountain, Tenn., and Dick Houseman of Arbyrd; a daughter, Diann Humm of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Ava Latta of Chesterfield and Bonnie Jones of Chandler, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, with the Rev. William Marshall officiating. Interment will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.

Visitation will be at 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
