HOWARDVILLE, Mo. -- Clem Farr, 72, of Fort Wayne, Ind., died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne.

He was born Nov. 10, 1928, at Bernie, Mo., son of James and Mary Farr.

Farr was a member of Dupree Temple Church of God In Christ and served on the Deacons Board.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah; three sons, Ronald and Calvin Farr of Fort Wayne, Kurt Farr of Rochester, N.Y.; three daughters, Gearlean Farr of Howardville, Maxine Jackson of Fort Wayne, Ruth Farr of Norcross, Ga.; and his mother of Howardville.

Also surviving are 12 brothers, Moses and Calvin Farr of Chicago, Luther and W.C. Farr of St. Louis, Lloyd Farr of New Madrid, Mo., Larry Farr of Augusta, Ga., Richard Farr of Malden, Mo., Clifton, Glennon, James Jr., Albert and Clayton Farr of Howardville; two sisters, Liza Lofton of Howardville, Lila Crisp of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Lilbourn, Mo. The Rev. M.P. Tremble will officiate. Burial will be in Simmons Park Cemetery at Catron, Mo.

Friends may call at the church Sunday after 1 p.m.

Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home at Howardville is in charge of arrangements.
