CLELLA L. MILES

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Clella L. Miles, 83, of Dongola, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1992, at Union County Nursing Home in Anna.

She was born Jan. 7, 1909, in Union County, daughter of George B. and Leina Brooks Garner. She first married Relis Keller and then Charley Miles, both of whom preceded her in death.

Miles was a member of First Baptist Church in Dongola, and Cypress Chapter 886 Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Lentz of Dongola; a son, Donald Keller of Joppa; a stepson, Joe Miles of Carbondale; a stepdaughter, Patsy Von Nida of Granite City; a brother, Glen Garner of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Ruby Ward of Lynnhurst, Ohio, Marge Carter of Brooksville, Fla.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and two stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and a sister.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Crain Funeral Chapel in Dongola. The Rev. Lucian Bozarth will officiate, with burial in Christian Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
