EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Cleeoria Adalay Motley, East Prairie Route 1, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Richard Farquhar and Mike Johnson will officiate, with burial in East Prairie Memorial Park.
Motley, 82, died Saturday, March 28, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 25, 1909, in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., daughter of Jim and Martha McDow Flatt. She married Clarence Arthur Marks Oct. 5, 1924. He died Oct. 18, 1983.
Motley was a member of Freewill Baptist Church here.
Survivors include four sons, E.J., Malcomb and Willie Marks of East Prairie, Arthur Marks of Tiptonville, Tenn.; a brother, paris Flatt of Molten, Ala.; a sister, Leola Davis of Lawrenceberg; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
