PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Cleda M. Duvall, 89, of Perryville died Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 22, 1919, at Fredericktown, Mo., daughter of Alfred and Maude Watts Mudge. She and John H. Duvall were married Aug. 22, 1936. He died Nov. 17, 1989...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. — Cleda M. Duvall, 89, of Perryville died Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 22, 1919, at Fredericktown, Mo., daughter of Alfred and Maude Watts Mudge. She and John H. Duvall were married Aug. 22, 1936. He died Nov. 17, 1989.

Duvall was a member of Whitewater Christian Church at Yount, Mo.

Survivors include two sons, John Duvall of Perryville, James Duvall of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; two daughters, Delores Oster of St. Mary, Mo., Ruth Parker of Gordonville; a sister, Helen Skaggs of Fredericktown; 14 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and two stepsisters.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 6:30 a.m. to service time Thursday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Estes officiating. Burial will be in Whitewater Christian Cemetery at Yount.
