Cleatie Cox

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Cleatie Cox, 89, of Advance died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Jan. 11, 1919, at Swinton, Mo., son of Claude and Edna Pearl Frye Cox.

Cox retired from the piston plant in Malden, Mo.

Survivors include two brothers, Lloyd and Warren Cox of Burley, Idaho, and a sister, Maude Dalton of California, Mo.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time today at Morgan Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gary Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
