Clayborn Donald Brasher, 78, of Scott City died Monday, June 28, 2010, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 19, 1931, at Portageville, Mo., son of Charles and Hazel Elizabeth Ross Brasher.
Brasher loved fishing, reading and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Clay Brasher; and a sister, Wilma Allen.
Survivors include a son, Eric Brasher of Atlanta; two daughters, Rozanna Brasher of Lenexa, Kan., Kathryn Uelsmann of Scott City; two brothers, Lloyd Allen Brasher and Jerry Brasher of Portageville; a sister, Mary Lancaster of Dexter, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Dan Krull, Suzy Huegerich, Andrew Brasher, Michael Brasher, Morgan Brasher, Brennan Uelsmann, Bennett Uelsmann; four great-grandchildren, Chloe Huegerich, Isacc Huegerich, Fischer Krull and Max Krull.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Thursday at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Darrell McFarland officiating. Burial will be in Portageville Cemetery.
