SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Claude L. Angle of Sedgewickville, died June 26, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was 78.
He was born Jan. 28, 1915, at Sedgewickville, the son of Henry and Mary Welker Angle. He was married April 8, 1939, to Cleo Lincoln. She survives.
He was a farmer and a member of the Little Whitewater Baptist Church.
He served on the Woodland School Board for 12 years, and was a Farm Bureau board member, a member of the Sedgewickville Fire Protection District, Egypt Mills-Bollinger County Antique Tractor Club, the Bollinger County Election Board.
He formerly served on the Soil and Water Board.
Other survivors include two sons, Robert D. Angle of St. Louis and Richard L. Angle of Cincinnati, Ohio; a daughter, Rosemary Miller of St. Louis; two sisters, Ruby Hahn of Marble Hill and Jessie Faries of Wappapello; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Friends may call at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 4 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Liley Chapel with the Rev. Dan Upchurch and the Rev. Randy Miller officiating.
Burial will be in Bollinger Park Memorial Cemetery in Marble Hill.
