MINER -- Claude John Kennedy, 66, of Miner died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1999, at his home.

He was born May 15, 1932, at Millington, son of Clyde and Gladys Logan Kennedy.

Kennedy was a bookkeeper many years, and most recently was an electrician with Kelley Electric Co. He was a member of VFW Post 3174 and Eagles Aerie 3319.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and attained the rank of sergeant.

Survivors include two sons, Curtis Kennedy of Miner, Christopher Kennedy of Chicago; a daughter, Roxanne Thompson of Simi Valley, Calif.; three brothers, Dennis Kennedy of Fontana, Calif., Larry Kennedy of Las Vegas, Nev., Stanley Kennedy of Fairdealing; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Schumacher officiating.

Friends may call at the chapel Friday from 10 a.m. until service time.
