JACKSON -- Claud Clinton "Bob" Myers, 79, of Jackson, died Thursday, April 6, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 4, 1916, in the Cane Creek community near Marble Hill, son of Charles and Fannie Shell Myers. He and Ruth Irene Call were married Dec. 3, 1938.
Myers was a member of Excelsior Masonic Lodge, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite, Shriners, Masonic High 12 Club, Academy Methodist Church in Harvey, Ill., and was director of Dry Creek Cemetery at Marble Hill.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Dale, Larry and David Myers of Jackson; two brothers, Clyde and Floyd Myers of Granite City, Ill.; a sister, Fern Hacke of Granite City; two grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 5 p.m. today. A Masonic service will be held at 7:30.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Orville and Jason Myers officiating. Burial will be in Dry Creek Cemetery.
