EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Clarence Woodside, 89, formerly of East Prairie died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000, at Sikeston Health Care Facility in Sikeston, Mo. He was born June 8, 1911, in Du Quoin, Ill. He and Ada May Wamble were married Aug. 15, 1944. She died Jan. 15, 1978...

EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Clarence Woodside, 89, formerly of East Prairie died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000, at Sikeston Health Care Facility in Sikeston, Mo.

He was born June 8, 1911, in Du Quoin, Ill. He and Ada May Wamble were married Aug. 15, 1944. She died Jan. 15, 1978.

He was a resident of East Prairie most of his life. He retired from McBride Cooperage Co. in Charleston, Mo. He was a member of First General Baptist Church.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Evelyn Risenhoover of Sikeston; and five stepgrandchildren.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
