WHITEWATER -- Clarence Webster Huffman, 87, of Whitewater, former presiding commissioner of Bollinger County, died Monday, Aug. 21, 1995, at his home.
He was born Jan. 20, 1908, son of George B. and Daisy Winters Huffman. He and Mable Birkman were married in 1927. She died June 26, 1969. He and Cora Williams were married June 29, 1973.
Huffman served as presiding commissioner from 1958-74. He was a member of Whitewater United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Gary Huffman of Ironton; a sister, Virginia Morrison of Cape Girardeau; four stepgrandchildren, and eight great-stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Virgil Bunch officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
