CLARENCE V. DANIELS

Clarence Virgil Daniels, 69, 2834 Independence, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 1991, at his home.

He was born Jan. 18, 1922, in Irvine, Ky., son of Millard and Mamie Scrivner Daniels Sr. He and Margaret Mary Clark were married July 2, 1955, in Jeffersonville, Ind. She died July 10, 1986.

Daniels worked at Chrysler Corp. in St. Louis, retiring in 1977. He was a member of Union Local 136 in St. Louis. Daniels served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis Daniels of Cape Girardeau, Larry Daniels of Kentucky; three daughters, Patricia Vannostrand of Utica, N.Y., Linda Daniels of St. Louis, Dorothy Daniels of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Christine Alumbaugh of Irvine, and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel. Graveside service is at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
