SHOOK -- Funeral for Clarence B. Siemer of Shook will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks Cemetery in St. Louis.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Siemer, 73, died Thursday, Dec. 16, 1999, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
He was born Aug. 18, 1926, in Detroit, Mich., son of Julius and Edna Conrad Siemer. He and Mary Susan Trudrung were married in June 1948. She died in June 1975. He later married Ruby Smith Underwood Aug. 22, 1983, at Lake Tahoe, Nev.
Siemer lived at Patton before moving to California, where he retired from Pacific Bell Telephone of San Francisco. He had lived at Shook since 1982. He was a life member of VFW Post 3416 at Wappapello.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, James Siemer of Belmont, Calif., Thomas Siemer of Pacific, Calif.; a daughter, Paula Turner of Danville, Calif.; three stepsons, Gene Underwood of Florissant, Johnnie Underwood of Sikeston, James Underwood of Wappapello; two sisters, Allena Bennett and Patsy Gerber of Wappapello; seven grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
