PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Clarence E. Maes, 96, of Perryville died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 26, 1907, in Chicago, son of John A. and Grace Baker Maes. He married Margaret Hascher, who died Jan. 11, 1996.
Maes retired as a photo engraver with the Chicago Tribune News.
Survivors include two nephews, Robert Maes of Patton, Mo., and Richard Maes of Phoenix, Ariz.
There is no visitation.
Graveside service will be at a later date at Beverly Cemetery in Chicago.
Liley Funeral Home at Patton is in charge of arrangements.
