BLOOMFIELD -- Clarence Layton of Bloomfield died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 1991 at Bloomfield.

Layton, 89, was born Dec. 12, 1901 at Bloomfield, son of John and Nancy Robey Layton.

He was a retired farmer.

Survivors included a brother, Riley Layton, Dexter; a sister, Iva White, Bloomfield; several nieces and nephews.

Service will be held at 1 p.m. today in Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Edsel Pruitt of Bloomfield officiating. Burial will be in Link Cemetery near Bloomfield.

Friends may call at the funeral home until the service.
