Clarence Job

KELSO, Mo. -- Clarence Arthur "Butch" Job, 72, of Kelso died Friday, Nov. 18, 2005, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 22, 1933, in Cape Girardeau, son of Arthur and Ella Schwabb Job. He and Mary Kathlyn Ressel were married July 11, 1959, in Kelso.

Job was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso and the Knights of Columbus Council 6420 of Scott City. Job was employed by Cotton Belt as a railroad conductor.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Michael Job of Scott City, James Job, Donald Job, both of Kelso, Douglas Job of Dunedin, Fla.; a daughter, Rebecca Job of Kelso; a brother, Albert "Bud" Job of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Virginia Conley of Cape Girardeau, Emma "Doodle" Schlosser of Oran, Mo.; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayers will be at 6:30 p.m. followed by a Knights of Columbus service.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Augustine Church, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.
