SIKESTON -- Clarence Harrington Sr., 83, of Sikeston died Saturday, Nov. 25, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born Dec. 18, 1911, at Tupelo, Miss., son of Richmond and Hattie Harrington. Survivors include three sons, Clarence Harrington of Carbondale, Ill., Greg Harrington of Chicago and Timothy Sanders of Sikeston; three stepdaughters, Maxine Kelly and Shirley Darling, both of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Peggy White of Chicago; four stepsons, Willie Lee Sanders, James Sanders and Jesse Sanders, all of Grand Rapids, and Henry Taylor of Sikeston; two sisters, Mattie Thompson of East St. ...

He was born Dec. 18, 1911, at Tupelo, Miss., son of Richmond and Hattie Harrington.

Survivors include three sons, Clarence Harrington of Carbondale, Ill., Greg Harrington of Chicago and Timothy Sanders of Sikeston; three stepdaughters, Maxine Kelly and Shirley Darling, both of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Peggy White of Chicago; four stepsons, Willie Lee Sanders, James Sanders and Jesse Sanders, all of Grand Rapids, and Henry Taylor of Sikeston; two sisters, Mattie Thompson of East St. Louis, Ill., and Myrtle Alexander of Rockford, Ill.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home in Sikeston from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Flem E. Bronner Sr. will officiate, with burial at the Sunset of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
