SIKESTON -- Graveside service for Clarence H. Storey of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Masonic Cemetery in Pocahontas, Ark. The Revs. Curtis Vandergriff and Perry Vandergriff will officiate.
Nunnelee Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Storey, 89, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 1996, at Clearview Nursing Center.
He was born Sept. 4, 1906, in West Plains, son of George Thomas and Mary E. Hill Storey. He and Bessie Notra Jackson were married March 3, 1930, in Dalton, Ark. She died Oct. 2, 1986.
Storey was a maintenance supervisor with Missouri Highway Department from 1949 until retiring in 1972. He was a member of Illinois Avenue General Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, William Storey, Sikeston Route 3; a sister, Ossie Malone of St. Louis; two grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by a brother, four sisters and a grandson.
