MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Clarence Henry Eeftink, 65, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at Jefferson Barracks VA Medical Center Nursing Home.
He was born March 11, 1939, at Glennon, Mo., son of Henry John and Mary Sophia Laurentius Eeftink.
Eeftink had been a barge deckhand and an auto body repairman. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1961.
Survivors include two brothers, August Eftink of Marble Hill, Louis Eftink of Scott City; two sisters, Frances VanGennip of Marble Hill, and Emma Holzum of Overland, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.
Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Church, with the Rev. Bill Huggins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
