ADVANCE -- Clarence Dempsey Hinkle, 67, of Advance Route 2, died Thursday, July 11 1991, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 3, 1923 at Bell City, the son of William Hinkle and Bessie Reed Hinkle.
He was a retired farmer and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.
Survivors are one brother, Charley Hinkle, Advance; four sisters, Alma Burger and Velma Finger, both of Cape Girardeau, Nettie Fulbright and Betty Phillips, both of St. Louis; and a friend, Zudie Clark of Dexter.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Friends may call today from 5:30-9 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
Funeral service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Nick Simmons and the Rev. Ina Allen-Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Morgan Memorial Park Cemetery.
