CAIRO, Ill. -- Clare Adele Motchan, 85, of Cairo died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 25, 1918, in Cairo, daughter of Neil and Irma Tauber Edwards. She first married Elgin Billingsley, who died in 1973. She later married Jack Motchan, who died in 1983.
Motchan had been a pharmacy apprentice in her father's business, Neil's Drug Store.
Survivors include two sisters, Patricia Ryan of Cairo and Martha Bryant of Charleston, Mo.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo from 5 to 7:30 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Dr. Larry L. Potts officiating. Burial will be in Wickliffe Cemetery at Wickliffe, Ky.
