CLARA O'BRYAN SUTTON

SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Clara "Sis" O'Bryan Sutton of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Dick Mainord will officiate, with burial in Matthews Cemetery.

Sutton, 90, died Monday, June 28, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 4, 1903, at Matthews, daughter of James Marshall and Effie Smith Brown. She married Dawson O'Bryan, who preceded her in death. She later married Clarence Sutton, who also preceded her in death.

Sutton had been a cook with Matthews School System, and member of Matthews Methodist Church.

Survivors include a stepson, Jim Sutton of Matthews; a stepdaughter, Lila Beeson of Matthews; a sister, Opal Parsons of Sikeston; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by two sons, a brother and two sisters.
