JACKSON -- Clara Margie Seabaugh, 76, of Jackson, died Monday, March 6, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 23, 1918, in Norfolk, Va., daughter of Virgil and Esther Wilson Collins. She and Joel C. Seabaugh were married Oct. 7, 1939. He died Jan. 24, 1982.
Seabaugh had been a cook at the former Schade's Restaurant, City Service Cafe and 25 Club in Jackson. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include eight sons, Emmett Seabaugh of Scott City, Joel Seabaugh of Blytheville, Ark., Donald Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau, Harry Seabaugh of Troy, L.C. Seabaugh of Magnolia, Texas, Marlin Seabaugh of DeQuincy, La., Terry Seabaugh of Sulphur, La., Kevin Seabaugh of Jackson; five daughters, Esther Henderson of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., Barbara Williamson, Joan James, Thelma Kimbel and Jackie Farrow, all of Jackson; 32 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, a brother and grandson.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Slatten officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
