Clara Lillian Kidd, 97, of Jackson passed away Sept. 16, 2011, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 13, 1914, at Rum Branch, the daughter of Henry and Pearl Ethel Lowe Kynion.
Clara had been a homemaker and she was of the Baptist faith.
Clara and Lloyd Kidd were united in marriage Oct. 4, 1933, at Jackson. He preceded her in death on Jan. 12, 2002.
Survivors include two sons; Paul Kidd and Forrest Kidd of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Mary Lee Quinn of Jackson, Peggy Jones of Chaffee, Mo., Patricia Galloway of Jackson and Linda McCullough of Plano, Texas; one brother, Everett Kynion of Marine, Ill.; a sister, Alice Hopper of Baldwin, Mo.; 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren' and several great-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers, a sister and two grandsons.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, Mo.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with Mark Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
