Clara Mae Hefner, 86, of Delta died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Mo.
She was born April 21, 1921, in Marion, Ill., daughter of Charley and Lou Etta Fowler Goodall. She and Orville J. Hefner were married Dec. 30, 1939. He died Feb. 7, 1976.
Hefner retired from Florsheim Shoe Co. in Chaffee as an outside sole cutter. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Wyatt, Mo., and Ladies Auxiliary to Chaffee VFW Post 3127.
Survivors include a son, Orville "Dickie" (Beverly) Hefner of Delta; a daughter, Jane (Larry) James of Bloomsdale, Mo.; a brother, Rip Goodall of Granite City, Ill.; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Watis Harrell officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance, Mo.
